“End of Summer” Collection

As the summer slowly slips away, a transition to fall has traditionally coincided with the start of new school years and new jersey releases from the world’s biggest football clubs. The “End of Summer” Collection brings these two moments in time together for a 10 piece collection of vintage 90’s soccer jerseys reworked with patches and graphics from classic U.S. colleges and universities.

A tribute to monochrome templates from third kits of the past, this collection imagines what it would look like for a major brand to treat college soccer jersey releases like professional jersey releases. The collection features a standard striped jersey design in a range of colors including black, brown, white, yellow, orange, red, maroon, carolina blue, royal blue and navy. Each jersey is carefully paired with patches and graphics for an East Coast school whose color scheme fits the jersey color.

The visual theme of the collection lookbook is directly tied to the change in seasons and some of the classic summertime activities that will fade away as we transition to fall. From outdoor tennis and hikes, to refreshing cold drinks and popsicles, each jersey in the collection is paired with an activity and location that visually compliments its specific colorway.
